In four years, four people have held the title of chief executive officer of Davis Regional Medical Center. Soon, a fifth person will take the reins of the Statesville hospital.
Former CEO Chad French resigned from his position last week.
Matthew Banks, chief operating officer at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center in Mooresville, is serving as the interim CEO, said Public Relations Director Janie Stikeleather.
“The search to identify a new CEO is underway,” she said Tuesday. “Members of the board, medical staff and administration will be involved in identifying the right individual to serve the hospital and community.”
Details regarding French’s resignation were not immediately available.
French served as CEO since August 2014. Prior to French, Travis Sisson’s served as interim CEO after Cindi Butcher resigned in April 2014. Butcher only served for four months following Vince Cherry’s retirement at the end of 2013.
