A Statesville man wanted in multiple counties was recently arrested in Iredell County, the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office reported.
Arrest reports indicate Aaron Dean Helton, of East Monbo Road, was arrested July 25 on multiple charges of theft, property damage, probation violation and missed court appearances. He was served warrants on three felony breaking and entering charges from Davie, Iredell and Lincoln counties. Other charges from Iredell County include felony larceny, misdemeanor vandalism and failure to appear.
Charges from Lincoln County include felony larceny after breaking and entering and felony possession of stolen goods.
Helton, 44, was also charged with six counts of probation violation by North Carolina Probation and Parole officers, a second charge of failure to appear and was issued a true bill indictment from Catawba County law enforcement.
He is being held in lieu of $777,000 secured bond.
The Mooresville Police Department was listed as the investigating agency.
State records show Helton has an extensive criminal history involving robbery, larceny and breaking and entering.
