The shooting on Memorial Day in Mooresville apparently stemmed from a personal dispute, according to a release from the Mooresville Police Department.
On Monday, Dexter McLelland, 29, and Josh Terry, 36, both of Statesville, drove to Selma Drive in Mooresville and confronted Jessie Wines, 33, of Mt. Ulla over a personal matter, the release states. Upon their arrival, they found Wines accompanied by Deangelo Tomlin, 25, and Rafael Tomlin, 28, both of Mooresville and an argument ensued.
Both Rafael Tomlin and Terry suffered gunshot wounds. McLelland suffered head lacerations. None of the injuries appear to be life threatening, according to the release.
Mooresville Police recovered drugs at the Selma Drive residence, the release states, and the investigation is continuing. No charges have been filed at this time.
