The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office rounded up several people as part of a delinquent child support initiative.
The roundup took place Thursday and the sheriff’s office Civil Division, patrol and CRU (Crime Reduction Unit) attempted to locate people wanted for failing to pay child support.
Officials reported 10 people were arrested on outstanding warrants for failing to pay child support. Six others were charged with resisting, obstructing and delaying a law enforcement officer. Those arrests, officials said, were due to suspects attempting to prevent arrests of wanted persons.
Arrested on child support orders for arrest were: Clifford Althoff, Darrell Carpenter, Letwon Faulk, Daniel Greene, Robert Harris, Alexea Houston, Charles Logan, Rahsaan Oneal, Brandi Wilhoit and Daniel Worley.
The others charged with resisting, obstructing and delaying were:
» Michaela Greene, $2,500 secured bond.
» Charlotte Lawson, $2,500 secured bond.
Authorities said Greene and Lawson lied to deputies about Daniel Greene being at the home and slammed the door and attempted to prevent deputies from coming inside in the 5800 block of Bertie Ave., Salisbury. Daniel Greene, officials said, was located when deputies forced entry.
» Charles Tomlinson, $2,500 secured bond.
» Mandy Hall, $2,500 secured bond.
Authorities said Tomlinson and Hall told deputies Daniel Worley was not at the residence on Gold Knob Road, Rockwell. They are accused of assisting Worley with hiding inside the heating and duct work. Deputies discovered him inside the HVAC vents, where he had become stuck and had to be rescued, officials said.
» Daniel Roehm, $1,000 secured bond.
Officials said Roehm told them Robert Scott Harris was not inside the residence in the 8900 block of Fisher Road, Rockwell. Deputies said they located Harris hiding behind a recliner in which Roehm was sitting.

Pruss, deputies said, told them Cliffird Althoff was not inside a home on Earnhardt Avenue, Salisbury but Althoff was found inside.
