The Safe Plates for Food Safety Managers course will be held at the Iredell County Agricultural Resources Center, at 444 Bristol Drive, on Mondays, Feb. 3 and Feb. 10.
Safe Plates teaches the essentials of safe food handling.
The course includes a textbook and materials. Classes will meet from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a one-hour lunch break both days.
The exam will be given Feb. 10 from 2:30-4:30 p.m.
The fee for the course is $140 and covers the textbook, materials and refreshments.
Registration forms are available at the Cooperative Extension Office or online at iredell.ces.ncsu.edu.
The deadline for registration is Jan. 24, with no late registrations accepted.
