The GFWC of NC Statesville Woman’s Club will host Taste of Iredell on Thursday, Nov. 21 from 5- 7 p.m. at the Historic Clubhouse at 515 West End Ave. in Statesville.
The event includes samples of local sweets and appetizers. Cost is $20 per person. The ticket includes a $5 beverage (wine or beer), $10 dessert sampling and $5 donation. Non-alcoholic beverages will also be available.
Flock Bistro in Mooresville, The Brickhouse in Davidson, Cantina 1511 in Mooresville, Beth Webb, Sandra Poole and SWC club members will provide the food options with dessers from
On the Nines (at Mooresville Golf Club), Statesville Country Club, Chili’s of Statesville, Café 220, Outback of Statesville, Eddie’s at the Lake, Suppers to You, Patisseire Café, Red Robin in Mooresville, O’Charleys in Mooresville, Risto’s Place, Creative Cakes by Allison, Sweetheart Baking Company, Shelley Arthur and SWC club members. Beverage options come from Red Buffalo Brewery, Grassy Creek Vineyard and Starbucks.
The event also includes auction items from Crooked Oak Mountain Inn in Asheville, Statesville Country Club, Chuck Adams Photography, Beth & Company, Animal Hospital of Statesville, Edible Arrangements, R. Gregory Jewelers, Artisan Basket, Table 31, Bell Nursery, Brass Pineapple Inn in West Virginia and others.
The club is currently holding a raffle for a Yeti cooler of Top-Shelf Spirits. Tickets are $5 each or $20 for five (Must be 21 or older to purchase tickets). There’s no need to be present to win and the drawing will be held Thursday, Dec. 5. Proceeds from these two events will benefit local Backpack Program, ElderCenter and SWC projects.
