Beatlemania returns to Statesville with The Return, a four-man group that has performed all over the world.

The Iredell County Animal Services is hosting its Sixth Annual Basket Raffle.

WHEN: Saturday, 2 p.m.

WHERE: 444 Bristol Drive, Statesville

WHAT’S THE DEAL? Dress to impress – the best costume will receive a prize. Proceeds go to 4 Paws Spay and Neuter Program.

CHARITY GOLF OUTING

First Presbyterian Church of Statesville will be hosting the event.

WHEN: Friday, Noon sign in, 1 p.m. start

WHERE: Statesville Country Club, 635 Deauville Road, Statesville

WALK TO END ALZHEIMER’S

The Walk to End Alzheimer’s is designed to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research.

WHEN: Saturday, 9 a.m. check-in, 10 a.m. opening ceremony

WHERE: Troutman ESC Park, 338 North Ave., Troutman

WHAT’S THE DEAL? There is no fee for the walk. Register at alz.org/walk or call 1-800-272-3900.

KICKBALL TOURNAMENT

Get Fit Iredell will sponsor a kickball tournament.

WHEN: Sunday, 1-5 p.m.

WHERE: Stumpy Creek Park, 160 Stumpy Creek Road.

WHAT’S THE DEAL: Teams must be co-ed and at least three players must be women. Players must be at least 14-years-old and those under 18 will need a waiver signed by a parent and that parent needs to stay on-site during the tournament.
