Blessing of the Animals
St. Paul Lutheran Church will hold a Blessing of the Animals service at 3 p.m. Pastor Paul St. Clair will pray for each pet as we thank God for the blessing each brings to our lives. Members of the community are invited to attend this meaningful service. Bring your pet to 1950 Salisbury Highway.

Pastor Appreciation Service
The church family of the Chestnut Grove Baptist Church will be celebrating another year of the pastoral service of the Rev. Dale K. Gibson in the 11 a.m. worship hour. The morning speaker will be the Rev. Robert Ramseur, associate pastor of the church. Special musical guests have been invited to share in the celebration. Dinner will be served in the Maggie Roseboro fellowship hall at 1 p.m. The church is located at 796 Cool Spring Road, Statesville. All are invited to come.
