St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 525 Camden Drive, will host bingo night. Doors open at 6 p.m. food and snacks are available for purchase. Bingo starts at 7 p.m. for 10 games with prizes.

Gospel Singing

Hillside Baptist Church, 115 Caldwell Farm Lane, will host a gospel singing at 6 p.m. Rick Parks of Statesville will be the singer.

Statesville Christian Women Club Luncheon and Program

The monthly Statesville Christian Women Club luncheon and program will be at 11 a.m. at the Statesville Civic Center, 300 S. Center Street. Cost is $12 per person. The topic this month is “Living Courageously” with speaker Linda Abrams from Lexington, South Carolina. The feature will be “Love Songs by Ginny and Len”. Soup and Sandwich Luncheon

First Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church, 123 E. Broad St., will host its Loving Sunday Soup and Sandwich Luncheon following the 11 a.m. traditional worship service. Fellowship Dinner Fundraiser

St. Paul Lutheran Church at 1950 Salisbury Highway in Statesville is hosting a fellowship dinner fundraiser. This is a sit-down served meal with a choice of cubed chicken and gravy or General Tso Chicken, choice of plain or seasoned green beans. Rice, roll, fruit cup and choice of dessert is included. Cost is $10 for adults, $5 for children 12 and younger. Chili, Soup Cook-off

Stony Point United Methodist Church, 311 Ruritan Park Road, Stony Point will host the annual chili, soup and dessert cook-off, to be held to benefit the Stony Point Volunteer Fire Department. There is a $5 registration fee to enter chili, soup or dessert and entries should be named. Bring your entry to SPMUC at 4 p.m. to set up for judging. Three prizes will be awarded to best tasting soup, most creative chili and yummiest dessert. The public is invited to come between 5 and 7 p.m. to taste and cast a vote.
