United Way of Iredell County has announced it moved into a new home early this month. United Way’s office is now in downtown Statesville at 305 N. Center St., in the same building as Park Sterling Bank and RE/MAX Properties Plus.
“We are excited to be centrally located in beautiful downtown Statesville and hope to use this opportunity to expand our ability to serve the community’s needs,” said Executive Director Brett Eckerman.
United Way made this move, in part, because of the opportunity to work together with Partners Behavioral Healthcare on a lease agreement for the property United Way owns on Davie Avenue.
“This agreement with Partners, not only meets our mission by supporting their work in Iredell and surrounding counties, but allows us to generate additional revenue and ensure that our donors gifts are focused on community services,” said United Way Board of Directors President Melanie Taylor.
United Way invites the community to drop in and see the new location during regular business hours.
