Statesville police are asking for information regarding break-ins that occurred at two cellphone stores earlier this week.
Police said two Cricket Wireless locations were broken into sometime between 7 p.m. Monday and 8:25 a.m. Tuesday. Three unidentified suspects were driving what appeared to be a four-door Nissan Frontier Pro-4x, possibly green, authorities indicated.
The SPD stated the suspects used large rocks to enter both locations and a crowbar to enter the safe at one store. They took several electronic devices from one store and a cash register from the other location, police indicated.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Statesville Police Department at 704-878-3406, or leave a tip with Iredell County Crime Stoppers at 704-662-1340. Callers to Crime Stoppers do not have to reveal their identity or testify in court, and rewards of up to $1,000 are possible.
