The new Randy Marion Ford Lincoln dealership construction off Salisbury Road is on schedule for a move in February.
General Manager Rhyne Scott said the Ford portion will move in February. Construction for the Lincoln showroom and customer service building started this week and is expected to be ready in May or June. Lincoln Sales and Service will move with Ford and share the Ford building temporarily.
Scott said weather has not impacted construction and the project continues on schedule.
“The building is about 80% enclosed which helps keep the project on track regardless of the weather since the main focus is on the interior parts of the project,” Scott said via email. “Paving started last week and will continue as weather permits. Soon we will start additional site work to remove dirt and grade the lot that is between the building and Fox Ave.”
Contractor G.L. Wilson Building Co. is completing the exterior siding, paving and installing windows and exterior lighting.
“The work of G.L. Wilson Building Co and their contractors has been at a rapid pace to have the project as far along as it is today,” Scott said. “This is a big project with a lot of parts to it so all the ones involved have done an outstanding job creating our new Ford dealership.”
